Welcome to Paws Place Rescue Inc.! I’m Denise Zamora, founder, caregiver, and the heart behind this private animal sanctuary and rescue. What began as a simple desire to help animals in need has grown into a peaceful refuge—a place where animals find hope, healing, and safety.
For over six years, I’ve devoted my life to rescuing, rehabilitating, and caring for animals facing special, emergency, or difficult circumstances. Our sanctuary is not a shelter; it’s a home. We focus on selective intakes, prioritizing animals who have lost their owners, come from challenging backgrounds, or need lifelong sanctuary care.
I believe every life deserves love and respect, and every animal deserves a second chance. With the support of our incredible community, we’re able to provide individualized care, medical support, and—when possible—adoption opportunities for animals ready to start a new chapter.
